Nonconsensual Intimate Image Removal Requests

Effective May 10, 2026

If intimate images of you have been shared on Northgiven without your consent — including real images, altered images, AI-generated images, deepfakes, or screenshots — you can request their removal here. You do not need to be a Northgiven user to file a request.

Northgiven aims to remove validly reported content, plus known identical copies on the platform, within 48 hours of receiving a valid request.

What This Covers

This process applies to intimate images or sexual content involving you that was shared without your consent, including:

If the content involves someone under 18, see the NCMEC resources below — that is treated as a child safety matter and handled separately under our Child Safety Standards.

How to Submit a Request

You do not need a Northgiven account. Anyone can file a removal request.

Step 1: Email safety@northgiven.com

Use the subject line: NCII Removal Request

Step 2: Include the following in your email

Step 3: We will confirm receipt

You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours acknowledging your request is under review.

Step 4: We act

Northgiven reviews the request and, if valid, removes the reported content and any known identical copies from the platform within 48 hours of confirmation.

What Happens After You Submit

Your Privacy

Northgiven handles removal requests with care and discretion.

Emergency or Ongoing Threats

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

If someone is actively threatening to share images, documenting the threat (screenshots, messages) may help law enforcement. You can also report the account in-app using the report button on any profile or conversation.
