Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Northgiven account at any time.
Deletion is immediate, permanent, and cannot be undone. Your profile, matches, and all personal data will be erased.
Delete via the app (fastest)
Open the app, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete Account". Your account is deleted right away.
Delete by email confirmation
Enter your account email. We'll send you a confirmation link. Click it and your account is gone.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, age, bio, photos)
- Your psychometric assessment responses
- Your match preferences and dealbreakers
- Your conversations and match history (from your side)
- Your trust score and behavioral history
- Your login credentials
- All your photos (removed from storage)
Messages you sent may remain visible to recipients as "[Deleted Account]" for safety purposes.
What we keep (fraud prevention)
- A SHA-256 hash of your email (not reversible)
- Your user ID and deletion date
- Whether safety reports were filed against your account
Held for 2 years, then deleted.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately to stop billing:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Northgiven → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Northgiven → Cancel
